Sandy Losee-Woods, MA, LMHC

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Certified Life Coach

Sandy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated summa cum laude from New York University with an MA in Mental Health Counseling, following her BA from the University of Michigan.

With a clinical background rooted in high-stakes environments, Sandy served at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan, contributing to a major eating disorders study, and spent three years in the Counseling Unit at Long Island University. There, she specialized in crisis management, depression, anxiety, and the complex transitions of young adulthood.

Today, she maintains a thriving private practice in East Norwich, serves as a trusted referral resource for several major universities, and brings her deep clinical insight to The Parenting Partnership.

Sandy has called Port Washington home for the last 25 years. Having raised her two daughters here, she has a deep personal connection to the community and a firsthand understanding of the unique joys and challenges of North Shore parenting.

"The goal isn't just to help your family feel better today, but to leave each member with a deep sense of confidence and connection that strengthens your bond for a lifetime."
